The De Valk Gift Card is a gift card loaded with a specific amount that can be used at our Van der Valk hotels and restaurants. The De Valk Gift Card is also known as a gift card, gift voucher, or gift certificate.

The De Valk Gift Card is also available in digital form and is sent via email.

You can redeem your Valk Gift Card on an existing booking by following the steps below.

1. Go to the website www.valkexclusief.nl and log in with your Valk account.
2. Go to “Reservations” and select the relevant reservation.
3. Click on “Pay online.”

You have the option to redeem the balance in one or more installments. It is important that you click the orange payment button to make a partial payment. You can then pay any remaining amount online by selecting another payment method. If you have multiple gift cards, click the Valk Gift Card icon again.

Of course, in most cases, it is also possible to pay the remaining amount at the hotel itself, provided the booking terms allow it.

Yes, you can redeem multiple Van der Valk Gift Cards in a single transaction. If there is any remaining balance, it will stay on the card and you can use it another time.

The Van der Valk Gift Card and the Valk Exclusief gift boxes are easy to order online. Once you place your order, it will be shipped to the address you provided as soon as possible.

You can also purchase the Van der Valk Gift Card at the front desk of a Valk Exclusief hotel near you. Please ask about current availability for the “Overnight Getaway” and “Weekend Getaway” gift boxes.

Gift cards cannot be exchanged for cash or another gift card.

If you haven’t received your Gift Card activation code, we recommend checking your spam folder. Unfortunately, these emails sometimes end up in the spam or junk folder by mistake. If you still haven’t received an email there, please contact us at info@valkcadeaucard.nl

In the online store, you can first browse and select the products you want at https://www.valkcadeaucard.nl/shop. For each product, click “Add to Cart” to place it in your shopping cart. Once you have added all desired products to your cart, click the shopping cart icon at the top of the page to proceed with the checkout process. After clicking ‘Order,’ you can specify any extras. In the next step, you can log in with your Valk Account, or you can continue ordering without a Valk Account. In that case, you will need to enter your details. Next, you can specify the address where you would like to receive the order, and you will then see an overview of your reservation. If you have received a discount code, you can enter it here. Once you click “Complete” here, you are placing a binding order.

Shipping costs are €5.95, except during special promotions. Shipping for gift boxes is €6.95.

Orders placed and paid for on weekdays before 4:00 PM are handed over to PostNL the same day. Orders placed on Fridays after 4:00 PM or on weekends are handed over the next business day. We are dependent on the delivery times of the shipping service. PostNL typically delivers within 1–5 business days in the Netherlands, usually within 3–4 business days. For Germany and Belgium, the average delivery time is 5–6 business days. In case of a delay, please first check the website www.postnl.nl for possible delivery delays in your region.

With the digital Van der Valk Gift Card, you have the freedom to choose the amount you want to load onto the gift card. This can range from €5 to €500 per digital gift card. This digital gift card can be redeemed at all Van der Valk hotels.

I have already made an online reservation
1. Click here to log in to the website
2. Click on your name in the top right corner
3. Go to the “Reservations” section
4. Select the relevant reservation
5. Click on “Pay online”
6. Select the Van der Valk Gift Card

There, enter the 19-digit card number and the corresponding PIN.

I want to make an online booking
In step 6 of the booking process, you can choose to pay with the Van der Valk Gift Card. There, enter the 19-digit card number and the corresponding PIN.

Paying at the hotel
You can also pay at the hotel using your digital Van der Valk Gift Card. This can be done at the hotel reception desk. Please present your digital or printed digital gift card there. The receptionists will process the payment for you.
