What is the delivery time for orders?
If you have ordered and paid for your Gift Card before 4:00 pm, the order will be processed and delivered to the delivery service the same day. We depend on the delivery times of the delivery service. They usually deliver within the Netherlands the next working day.
For addresses in Germany and Belgium, the delivery time will be approximately 4-5 business days. Did you not receive any package the next morning when you ordered within the Netherlands? Please check the site www.postnl.nl first for possible delays in deliveries in your region.

What is the difference between the ValkVoordeel Giftcard and the free value and hotel & restaurant Cadeaucard?
The ValkVoordeel Gift Card is a new unique gift card. You can only redeem the ValkVoordeel.nl Gift Card via: www.valkvoordeel.nl. At ValkVoordeel.nl you will find all Van der Valk Exclusive hotel offers.
The free value and hotel & restaurant Cadeaucards can be spent in both the hotel and restaurant at all Van der Valk Hotels & Restaurants worldwide.

I have not received the activation codes by email, why is this?
If you have not received the Cadeaucard activation code, we advise you to check your "spam" inbox. Unfortunately, emails sometimes end up here. Did you not receive any mail here either? Then please contact us viainfo@valkcadeaucard.nl

Why are transportation insurance costs charged?
The costs for the transport insurance are charged for the complete services of Valk Cadeaucard. This includes the Valk Cadeaucard app for balance Check, email handling and replacement for orders that have not arrived. The costs for the transport insurance amount to 3% of the total order value.

How does the ordering process work?
In the webshop you can first choose the desired products at https://www.valkcadeaucard.nl/shop. For each desired product you can click on 'In shopping basket' to place the product in the shopping basket. Once you have placed all desired products in the shopping cart, you can click on the shopping cart at the top to continue the ordering process. After clicking on 'order' you can specify any extras. In the next step you can log in with your Valk Account, or you can continue to order without a Valk Account. In the latter case, you must enter your details. You can then indicate at which address you wish to receive the order and after that you will see an overview of your reservation. If you have received a discount code, you can enter it at this stage. As soon as you click on this, you will start an order with payment obligation.
