• How does the Van der Valk Cadeaucard work?

  You can redeem your Van der Valk Cadeaucard on an existing reservation by following the steps below.

  1. Go to the website www.valkexclusief.nl and log in to your Valk account.
  2. Go to "reservations" and select the relevant reservation.
  3. Click on "pay online".

  You have the option to redeem the balance in one or multiple parts. It is important that you click the orange payment button to make a partial payment. After that, you can pay any remaining amount online by selecting another payment method. If you have multiple gift cards, click the Van der Valk Cadeaucard icon again.

  The Van der Valk Cadeaucard is also referred to as a gift card, gift voucher, gift pass or gift certificate.

  At this time, it is not possible to redeem the gift card in the Valk Exclusief app.

• How can I activate my cadeaucard?
  If the gift card was purchased through our webshop, the purchaser will receive the activation code by email. Please also check your spam or junk mail folder. Did you receive the cadeaucard as a physical gift sent to your home? In that case, the activation code will be sent by post.

  First, enter the 19-digit card number listed on the back of the card below, followed by the activation code from the letter or email.
  Please note: the PIN code under the scratch-off layer or the code in the top right corner of the card is not the activation code and cannot be used for this purpose.

  You can then click activate at the bottom of the page. Once the gift card has been activated, you can check the balance. For more information, please see the check balance section at the top of the webpage.

  Gift cards purchased at one of our locations are activated immediately and do not need to be activated separately.

• How can I check the balance of my cadeaucard?
  Using the Van der Valk balance checker, you can quickly and easily see how much credit is available on your gift card.

  First, enter the 19-digit card number listed on the back of the card
  and then the 6-digit PIN code. This PIN code can be found under the scratch-off layer on the back of the gift card.

  If you receive the message 'unknown card number', please first check whether your gift card has been activated.
